10) Books get large print; movies get letterboxed. 9) Too embarrassing to see a movie version "Romance for Dummies". 8) The aging economics - $1 theatres vs. 75 cent book sales. Aaaah! 7) Curling up in bed tonight with a good video? NOT THE SAME MEANING. 6) Marking your place doesn't involve worrying if your nosy brother will rewind it over again. 5) Nobody cares if the main character slept with Pamela Lee. 4) Characters can't leave books due to contract negotiations. 3) Books become cheaper with time; movies become bigger Blockbuster specials. 2) No complaints of how the author looks so much better in person. 1) Sequels do not suck.
